The Public are very welcome to visit the Batchworth Boat Rally that takes place on the Grand Union Canal between Batchworth Lock (Lock 81) and Stockers Lock (Lock 82). The best times to visit are between Midday and 17:00 for canal boat related activities as well as Towpath and Batchworth Lock events. Please see our About page for more information. After 17:00, further entertainment can be found at the very local White Bear Pub and the Canal side Batchworth Scouts Arena.

Directions
Walking to the rally site from Rickmansworth Station takes around 15 minutes, with several pleasant routes to choose from. The most scenic option leads through the Rickmansworth Aquadrome, to the Grand Union Canal as the rally location runs alongside the Aquadrome. Alternatively, you can walk via Rickmansworth town centre and continue on to Batchworth Lock, where the road bridge crosses the canal.

Driving to the Rally Location is an option and free parking is available in the Aquadrome Car Park, a 2 minute walk from the canal. Drivers need to be aware that that the Aquadrome Car Park closes at 21:30 in the evening.
