We would like to thank and acknowledge all those who have contributed or supported the Batchworth Boat Rally in order to make it possible:
- Cafe @ Lock 81 – Located at Batchworth Lock, joint owner Clare, has been extremely understanding knowing the possible disruption to the operation of her business and has worked with us allowing our planned activities to happen while still serving delicious hot food, snacks and drinks .
- Batchworth Community Council for their donation allowing us to provide important safety and information signage
- Batchworth Sea Scouts for their donation enabling us to provide portable and disabled toilet facilities and their partnership to make two events into one great community event.
- Wood, Hall & Heward Ltd for their generous loan of a tug for moving boats and to make the Boat Handling competition possible.
- Herts Boat Rescue – for attending the event providing that all important first response and rescue should inevitable happen
- Inland Waterways Association – Always happy to lend us kit when they are able to.
- Rickmansworth Waterways Trust for supply mooring position markers and temporarily moving their boats to accommodate Rally activities
There are also all those individuals who volunteer to make the Boat Rally happen. Even the smallest amount of help can often unlock what seems a big problem, So an extremely big thank you goes out to all of those individuals .
